Terms of Use and Data Collection
This privacy policy aims to explain to users of the Regioneo solution (“hereinafter Regioneo”), in accordance with current legislation, the efforts made to protect users’ personal data and ensure the confidentiality of that data, as well as any data for which we act as a processor. This page is intended to provide information on the data collected by Regioneo, the purposes justifying its processing, and the rights available to users.
1 – Data Collected and Purposes
The data collected is intended to allow users to securely register and log in to Regioneo and to use its features. It may also be used by our teams to send informational emails about new features or actions required to ensure the continuity of services offered by the application (such as important updates) or to improve the user experience. In this context, we collect and are directly responsible for processing the following data from our users: name, first name, address, email, phone number, products and services entered by the user, revenue of goods managed via the application, statistical data of goods managed via the application.
Additionally, as part of Regioneo’s features, and in order to ensure the proper execution of the contract between the user and their end users, we may collect the following data on behalf of the end users as a processor: name, first name, address, email, phone number, order details, messages sent, data related to the number of orders.
2 – Methods of Data Collection
User data is collected either during the initial registration with Regioneo through the dedicated form or during their interactions with our teams. The collection of data related to the proper execution of contracts between our users and their end users, where we act as a processor, takes place at the time of said contract’s execution between the user and their end users and is considered as consented by all parties under the terms and conditions provided to the end users by the user. No other data is collected by the application or our teams without the explicit consent of the concerned individuals, and it will only be used for the legitimate purposes agreed upon with them.
3 – Data Retention Period and User Rights
To ensure the proper functioning of Regioneo and allow users to log into their accounts, we retain user data for the entire duration of their use of the application. Our staff and subcontractors can only access user data to the extent necessary to fulfill the objectives outlined and defined in point 1. Users have the right at any time to verify, access, rectify, delete, transfer, and object to the use of their data by contacting us at pierre.tubiana@bm-services.com. We will do everything possible to accommodate their request.
4 – Cookies
We also collect cookies to ensure the security and proper continuity of our services. This includes the following information: the date and time of a user’s connection, the IP address of the device used to access the application (if using the app).
5 – Obligations and Security
The teams working for Regioneo commit not to share the data collected directly as a data controller or indirectly as a processor with third parties without informing the user and ensuring that the purposes for which the data was collected are respected. The application has an SSL certificate to ensure that the transfer of information and data through the application is secure.
Furthermore, the data controller commits to notifying the user in the event of rectification or deletion of data, unless this would involve disproportionate formalities, costs, or efforts. In the event that the integrity, confidentiality, or security of user data is compromised, the data controller commits to informing the user by any means available.
6 – Data Hosting
The collected data is hosted by DigitalOcean LLC, located at 01 Avenue of the Americas, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10013. The servers used are located within the European Union, in Germany (Frankfurt).
7 – Data Sharing
Regioneo does not share collected data except to ensure the proper functioning of the solution. Data such as IP address and the type of devices used by our users are collected and shared in an encrypted and anonymous manner with our error reporting software (Sentry).
8 – Policy Regarding Data Concerning Minors
The Regioneo application is not intended for minors and does not collect personal data, except for data voluntarily provided by the end users of our users. 9 – Acceptance and Modification of This Privacy Policy
By using Regioneo, the user certifies that they have read and understood this privacy policy and accept its terms. This privacy policy may evolve to ensure its compliance with applicable law, and the user is encouraged to review it regularly.
10 – Right to Contact the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of a dispute regarding data processing, we encourage our users to reach out to our team to find a satisfactory solution. The user has the right to contact the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés, https://www.cnil.fr) or any competent judge.
